Will the Lion King Subliminal Messages Damage Disney
Welcome to this short article outlining the recently discovered Lion King subliminal messages. We are going to discuss the use of subliminal messaging within the Lion King.
The best example is from the scene aprox half way through the movie where the stars in the sky start to swirl and form an outline of Simba’s father. During this the stars briefly form the word “Sex”.
The official Walt Disney response was to completely deny the use of subliminal placement within the Lion King. As always (you better believe that this isn’t the first time Disney have used subliminal messages!) Disney claim it was not done on purpose, that it was just coincidental.
You might be inclined to believe that if it wasn’t for the 100s of other subliminal messages in disney movies across their range of animations, and movies.
The “Sex” message in the sky is the only suggestion the average person is aware of. However, the word sex actually appears on a lot of different occasions thought the movie.
They are spelled out in leaves in the jungle, in the grass , and by rocks on the cliffs – once you start looking you see these suggestions everywhere.
When you see these multiple messages it all seems a bit more plausible that Disney may using hidden messages in their movies. What we can’t answer however, is why? 
It might be just for their amusement, the designers personal game, or perhaps even a ploy to make the movie more memorable.
Sadly many of these messages have been edited out for newer DVD re-releases, so you can only see them on the original VHS editions – get yours out and watch closely and let us know if you find any more
